Are you eligible?

To be eligible for our program, you:

Must be age 14-24
Must have a challenge to employment or training, such as being in or aging out of the foster care system
May need to meet income guidelines
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Studies show that young adults who are in or have aged out of foster care, struggle with education and employment because of these issues:

-Unstable Schools-

Almost all foster children move schools at least once a year. 1 in 3 go through 5 or more schools.

-Limited Education-

50% of foster children do not get a high school diploma. Less than 3% get a college degree.

-Unreliable Transportation-

Finding reliable transportation is one of the biggest challenges facing those in foster care.

-Emotional Stress-

25% of those who have aged out of foster care will suffer from PTSD.

- Substance Dependency-

Former foster youth are 7 times more likely to develop drug dependency than their peers.
