To be eligible for our program, you:

Must be age 14-24
Must have a challenge to employment or training, such as being homeless or a runaway
May need to meet income guidelines
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Studies show that young adults, who have experienced homelessness, struggle with these barriers to education and employment:

-Financial Insecurity-

Poverty is the most common cause of homelessness in the U.S.

-Limited Job Availability-

Unemployment is the second most common cause of homelessness.

-Unstable Schooling-

Homeless families move frequently, causing youth to transfer school districts multiple times.

-Limited Education-

Homeless youth are 9 times more likely to repeat a grade and 4 times more likely to not finish high school.

-Unreliable Transportation-

Many homeless individuals do not own a vehicle and struggle to find affordable transportation.

- Lack of Support-

Young adults often become homeless due to family conflict, including divorce, neglect, or abuse.
