Must be age 16-24

Must have a challenge to employment or training, such as being and ex-offender

May need to meet income guidelines

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Studies show that young adults, age 16-24, who have been subject to the court system, struggle with these barriers to education and employment:
-Financial Insecurity-
The majority of ex-offenders are living in poverty, especially those ages 16-24.
-Limited Job Availability-
The unemployment rate is 50% for those with criminal records.
-Fewer Job Options-
Only 12.5% of employers say they would hire someone with a criminal record.
-Unreliable Transportation-
Many ex-offenders do not own a vehicle and struggle to find affordable transportation.
- Limited Education-
75% of ex-offenders did not complete high school.
